# Virtual Private Cloud

> Connect an Agent Gateway to internal targets.

An Agent Gateway instance sits on the user's [*Network*](https://developers.telnyx.com/docs/network/overview.md), and connects to [targets](https://developers.telnyx.com/docs/agent-gateway/targets.md) inside the user's network in one of three ways:

| [Target behind a subnet router](https://developers.telnyx.com/docs/agent-gateway/vpc/wireguard-peers/subnet-router.md) | A WireGuard peer of the *Network* that routes the target's subnet. | Preview |
| [Target behind a tunnel](https://developers.telnyx.com/docs/agent-gateway/vpc/tunnel.md) | One or more hosts that run a Tunnel, with a route that sends the target's subnet to it. | Preview |
